Our class engaged in a deep and meaningful conversation about mental illness and mental wellness today. Students learned about some shocking statistics and are eager to break the stigma. Everyone is affected by mental illness. Let’s talk about it.
When things feel 'off' in life, as they sometimes do, we must have healthy strategies to help ourselves through. Students were given the opportunity to reflect on how they find balance in their lives. We felt it was important to share these ideas in case we could help others. Here are some of their suggestions:
